7-year-old boy drowns to death in river Jehlum at Sultanpora | KNO

Baramulla, July 12 (KNO) : A minor boy Friday drowned to death in river Jehlum at Sultanpora Pattan of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday afternoon. An eyewitness told Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that some boys had gone for taking bath and Faizan drowned in river at Sultanpora bund. After the incident, locals rushed towards the spot and retrieved the body from river and rushed him to nearby SDH Sumbal for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead, he said. He identified the boy as Faizan Ahmad Marazi, son of Mohammad Yousuf Marazi of Sultanpora Pattan. A doctor at SDH Sumbal also confirmed the death of Faizan Yousuf.(KNO)
